Do I need to be an experienced diver?

No. These groups tend to be mixed and patient with newer divers. If the trip lists a minimum cert or dive count, it is because the sites demand it, and the host will say so plainly.

Can I bring a partner or friend who is a man?

On women-only trips, no. On women-focused trips, sometimes. Check the trip's stated policy before booking; the host will be clear about it.

Is the diving as good as a regular trip?

Same operators, same sites, same boats. The difference is the group on deck, not the water.
