Do I need a special certification?

Only if the site demands it. Cenote caverns accept Open Water with a guide; deep wrecks at Truk want Advanced or more. The cultural part needs nothing but curiosity.

Is this a good trip with a non-diver?

One of the best. Non-divers join every land activity and are often on the boat for the island stops. Pair it with a snorkel and they will see plenty.

How much diving is there?

Expect 8 to 12 dives in a week, balanced with land time. If you want 20, look at Dive-Focused instead.
